About the Summit

Everyone deserves to be led well.

The Global Leadership Summit is a two-day event broadcast to hundreds of host sites in more than 100 countries. New Port Baptist Church, Apapa is one of those host sites — which is how world-class faculty reaches Lagos at a price a teacher, a trainee or a small business owner can actually pay.

It runs on one conviction: when leaders get better, everyone around them gets better. Homes, businesses, classrooms, churches, teams. We keep the fee deliberately low and the church underwrites the rest, because the person who most needs to be in the room is rarely the one with the biggest budget.

01

World-class faculty

Sessions from the global GLS faculty — chief executives, pastors, researchers and practitioners who lead at scale — brought to Apapa and framed for where we actually work.

02

Leadership as service

Influence is stewardship, not status. Every session holds to the conviction that leaders exist for the good of the people they lead.

03

A room worth being in

Business owners, ministry leads, teachers, public servants and secondary school pupils in one room for two days. The corridor conversations matter as much as the stage.

Is this for me?

If even one person follows you, this is for you.

You do not need a title, a team, or a decade of experience. Each year the room holds a chief executive sitting beside a secondary school pupil, and both leave with something they can use on Monday.

  • Business owners & entrepreneurs
  • Pastors & ministry leaders
  • Managers & executives
  • Teachers & school leaders
  • Public sector & NGO leaders
  • Students & emerging leaders

Lead Where You Are

The edition that widened the room — a deliberate push to bring marketplace leaders and school pupils alongside the church community, and the first year certificates were awarded across every track.
